Milano Moda Uomo ends on a high note

Milano Moda Uomo ended yesterday on a highly positive note with accolades from both the media and international industry members.

Within the space of 4 days, the events calendar of the Fall /Winter 2013-14 season, coordinated by the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, saw the presentation of 71 collections with 38 fashion shows and 35 presentations for the world’s most influential fashion week dedicated to men’s prêt-à-porter.

“I am extremely satisfied by the positive signals that marked these days of fashions shows”, comment Mario Boselli, the president of Milan Fashion Week’s organizing body “Camera Nazionale della Moda”. “I sincerely hope that this edition of  Milano Moda Uomo will be seen as a turning point, in view of the fact that the sell out of the collections presented is likely to coincide with a period of economic recovery.” He then went on to add, “I hope that the buyers find the courage to make orders based on a scenario of recovery, imbuing optimism into the sales being held at showrooms during this period.”

The extremely positive response given by buyers, the media and international visitors attending  Milano Moda Uomo confirms the solidity of “Made-in-Italy” especially during the sales days characterising Milano Moda Main (10 January – 9 February 2013): the new event promoted by CNMI which coordinates the calendar dates for the sale of Men’s, Women’s and Children’s collections. Sixty eight showrooms showcasing the collections of  126 brands are featured on the calendar.
