AMERICAN LEGEND MAY AUCTION RESULTS
A record buyer attendance pushed the price level higher on the opening day of American Legend’s May auction.
The auction began with Blackglama males advancing 5% compared to the March auction.
Greece led all buyers with support from Hong Kong/China.The Mahogany males and the Demi/Ranch Wild males and females followed with similar success, selling at firm to advancing levels compared to March with buying led by Hong Kong/China with widespread support.
Breeder males and females concluded the selling in day one with active bidding that raised the prices to high levels compared to the regular collection.
The second day of the American Legend May auction continued the success experienced in day one.
Blackglama females led off the sale and were sold at firm to advancing levels when compared to our March auction. Korea was the main buyer with strong support from Hong Kong/China. The Mahogany females also sold at levels firm to March with Hong Kong/China leading the buying with support from all markets. Mutation mink sold amid widespread support with premiums paid for shorter-napped, finer- quality mink in all color categories.
The sale concludes tomorrow with the balance of the Section III male and female offering.
