American Legend concluded the “Auction of the Century” today with the offering of the Demi/WildType males and females. Buying was widespread from all markets, but was dominated by Hong Kong/China. As with the entire sale, premiums were paid on the better qualities, which experienced advancing prices, while the levels eased on the more commercial types. Nap length continues to be a major pricing factor as the trade deals with the large volume of goods now being offered in the market.

The overall success of the sale can be attributed to the nearly 1,000 registered buyers in attendance from all markets. We would like to thank the entire trade for their outstanding support and a special thank you to Saga Fur Sales for hosting this historic event in such spectacular fashion.

on 2 day sale : Backglama females began the day and advanced in double digits once again over recent North American sales. Smaller sizes experienced even larger premiums. Competition was keen from Korea throughout the collection with support from Greece and Hong Kong/China.
