Nafa celebrates with Manzari furs in Dubai
The 30C degree temperatures in the outdoor amphitheatre of the One & Only Royal Mirage Hotel in the posh Jumeira Beach area of Dubai did not deter the many local guests, foreign visitors along with trade and government VIPs from joining the fur gala show co-hosted by NAFA and Manzari Luxury Furs.
This gala event, held on Saturday, October 13th, began with a cocktail reception in the Arabian Courtyard. As guests settled in their seats in the adjoining amphitheatre, Ms. Diane Benedetti, NAFA’s Senior Vice President – Marketing, greeted everyone and congratulated Mr. George Mantziaris on the Grand Opening of the new Manzari Luxury Furs boutique in Dubai.
In celebration of the Manzari purchase of the Black NAFA Female Mink Top Lot at NAFA’s May sale, a short presentation ceremony was held. Mr. Gregg Dolinsky, Senior Vice President of NAFA Fur Operations, and Mr. Bobby Poulios, Vice President of Buyer Relations, awarded Mr. Mantziaris the Black NAFA Top Lot plaque. On stage joining in the presentation were Mr. Robert Zimbal Jr. and Ms. Valerie Zimbal, representatives of Zimbal Minkery, producers of the fine quality black mink that earned the right to be called Top Lot. As the show unfolded a stunning array of NAFA furs were paraded down the catwalk. Gianfranco Ferre, Jean Paul Gaultier, Yves Salomon and Borbonese were amongst the designers spot lighted. NAFA Mink was seen in its many naturally beautiful shades from deep, dark browns to rich, vibrant grey/blue tones to delicate, soft pearls and whites.
The finest of NAFA Northern wild furs, sable and lynx cat, drew instant applause from the audience. Whether crafted as a full garment or featured as an elegant trim on NAFA Mink, the effects were luxurious. Highlights of Manzari’s NAFA Silver Fox collection offered young, sporty designs mixed with fabric as well as glamorous wrap coats.
It was the finale scene that left the guests in awe. The Manzari collection of natural black mink coats produced in Zimbal Black NAFA Mink was not only elegant in design but the sheer beauty of the Black NAFA Mink pelts shimmered in the spotlight and their soft texture gave the garments a fluid motion that captured everyone’s eye.
