South Korea’s iconic landmark, the Seoul Arts Center, was the location for an exclusive fur fashion show presented by NAFA on the evening of December 3, 2013. The event marked the very first time that any fashion brand had the privilege to be included in an Arts Center presentation and was showcased as part of an Italian cultural program.

This special “Italian Night” event offered guests a close up look at Italian culture from history and travel to music and fashion. NAFA worked closely with one of Korean’s leading fur manufacturers and retailers, Yoonjin Fur Fashions, to provide highlights from their international designer collection that is available in Yoonjin boutiques in major department stores in Korea.

The Jayu Music Theatre within the Art Center complex was sold out; allowing just over 200 VIP guests the opportunity to share in this experience. As the theatre doors closed, a short video on Black NAFA heralded the start of the evening’s entertainment. The Yoonjin collection of fur fashion featured two of Italy’s most famous fur design houses – Tosato and Rindi. Their trendy garments of NAFA Mink and NAFA Northern Lynx Cat and Sable appeared to delight guests with the sleek lines and fine craftsmanship that the Italians are famous for. Also highlighted in the show were the fur designs that Italian pret-a-porter designer Francesca Liberatore created exclusively for Yoonjin Fur Fashions in Black NAFA and NAFA Blue Iris Mink. Again, it was the precision cut and superior quality of fur that brought applause from the audience.

The evening came to a close with four Korean virtuosos performing a selection of popular Italian opera arias. This was a prefect ending to an evening that took guests on a journey of enjoyment through refined Italian culture.
