Who’s Next and Coolhunter Italy join forces to promote young, up-and-coming designers

During the first edition of the COOLHUNTER ITALY TRADE SHOW held in Milan from 22 to 24 September 2012, WHO’S NEXTPRÊT-À-PORTER PARIS will organize a competition for young Italian designers.

The organizers of Who’s Next Prêt-à-porter Paris will be at Milan’s Palazzo delle Stelline where they will nominate a winner from among the young talents proposed by  Coolhunter Italy. In addition to being offered a stand during the January 2013 edition of Who’s Next Prêt-à-porter Paris, the winner will also benefit from personalized exposure. This prize represents a unique opportunity for the winner who will thus have a chance to launch his/her own-name brand and present it to the numerous industry members, buyers and international journalists present in Paris during the trade fair.

Who’s Next and Italy boast a strong link, with Italy being the country most strongly represented after France. In fact the last edition was attended by 47064 visitors of whom 2430 came from Italy. In spite of the somewhat negative economic trend,  Italy holds the number one ranking in the Top Ten of visitor attendance, excluding France.

As regards exhibitors, 245 Italian brands showcased their wares at the 2012 June edition showing a 67% increase compared to the same session in September 2007.
